1 Laine Johnson, Chuck Halford, and the Red Team finish a summit today at Bethel Baptist Church in Moody, Alabama. Cover them in prayer as they seek God’s presence and power.

2 Ryan Loveing, Ben Slenk, and the White Team began a 4-day revival conference yesterday at First Church of the Nazarene in Lubbock, Texas. Pray that God increases thirst for Him, His Word, and His ways in this body of believers.

3 Collegiate Impact is seeking to partner with campus ministry leaders to see widespread transformation take place among students and faculty at universities across our nation. Pray that God would be pleased to use these Jericho Partnerships as an effective tool toward this end, and pray for sufficient funds to be provided.

4 Challenging economic times have influenced the giving ability of some of our full-time staff’s support teams. In spite of this, pray that God would continue to provide for every need experienced by our staff and their families.

5 The Revive Our Hearts staff continues developing new materials for the True Woman movement. Pray that these resources will further the message of biblical womanhood, building on God’s work in the women who attended the True Woman ’08 conference.

6 Pray that God would greatly use video reproductions of the True Woman ’08 speakers’ sessions to continue instructing and discipling women from many walks of life in His truth.

7 John and Mary Myers were single team members on two of the original Life Action teams. Today John serves in our Ministry Development Department. Please cover them and their family of grown children and young grandchildren in prayer.

8 Brent and Maggie Paulus serve in Life Action’s Accounting Department and with Revive Our Hearts, respectively. Pray for them as they welcome their first child this month.

9 The White Team will be traveling to serve at this year’s Vision Gathering, which begins Thursday. Cover them in prayer as they set up, manage logistics, and pray for God’s power. Several of our leadership will also attend the gathering.

10 Life Action Ministries’ leadership teams desire to handle the Word of God with integrity, applying it with grace and boldness to contemporary situations faced by our constituents, staff, and teams. Ask for God’s empowering in this important aspect of their calling.

11 As Nancy DeMoss records radio programs for Revive Our Hearts today, ask God to direct her every word, enabling her to communicate His Word with accuracy and power.

12 This year’s Vision Gathering in San Antonio, Texas, begins today and continues through Sunday. Pray that God’s hand would be on this time, as we minister to those who give sacrificially to help accomplish the vision God has given us.

13 Pray today for Stan and Olive, Paulette, and Helen, who assist in our prayer ministry. They make sure that all correspondents asking for prayer receive a response from us.

14 Pray for our Staff Services Department today, asking God to help Mike, Ted, Vicci, Louise, Alicia, and Stephani to serve wisely and well.

15 Al Whittinghill, Nate Kingsley, and the Red Team begin a 4-day follow-up summit today at Dawson Street Baptist Church in Thomasville, Georgia. Pray that God would be pleased to work deeply in this short time.

16 Lauren Davis serves faithfully as a designer in our iMedia Department. Pray today for wisdom and strength in her job and for provision of her practical needs.

17 The Revive Our Hearts staff is burdened to effectively minister to women who disciple other women in their local churches. To that end, four Women’s Ministry Directors’ retreats are planned at The Lodge this year. Ask God to guide and provide in every detail of these gatherings.

18 Dennis Gaul oversees the Facilities and Equipment Department at Life Action’s National Ministry Center. His wife, Carrie, serves as an associate with Revive Our Hearts. As they invest many hours in kingdom work, please pray for them today.

19 Patty Hamilton joined us nearly three years ago as the manager of our Data Processing Department. Ask God for protection and provision for her as she fulfills this vital role.

20 Cover our maintenance staff in prayer today, asking for God’s protection as they labor.

21 Tomorrow Steve Canfield, Steven Canfield, and the Blue Team open a 2-week summit at Grace Presbyterian Church in Peoria, Illinois. Ask God to do a deep work that will influence many in the surrounding community, as well as in the church body.

22 The White Team opens an 8-day summit today at Oak Street Baptist Church in Graham, Texas. Pray for an outpouring of God’s tangible presence and power as the participants obey Him.

23 Laine Johnson, Wilson Green, and the Red Team began an 11-day summit yesterday at Friendship Baptist Church in Hudson, North Carolina. Ask God to help them and the church leadership wisely address the needs He reveals during these days.

24 Sandra Hawkins, Executive Secretary to our Executive Director, will soon mark her 28th year serving with Life Action. Thank God with us for such faithfulness, and ask Him to bless Sandra.

25 The leadership of Life Action Ministries believes God has directed our ministry to focus on five specific demographic groups, with the intent of encouraging revival and spiritual awakening. (Each group will be mentioned individually in the next five days.) Pray that our staff, teams, and volunteers will be Spirit-led and empowered for the tasks at hand.

26 Pray for the Life Action Camp as they offer family camps, father/son retreats, father/daughter banquets, and couples’ retreats, with the goal of encouraging revival in families.

27 Pray for Life Action’s road teams as they travel thousands of miles each year, impacting local church congregations to seek Christ for refreshing revival and to examine every aspect of their church and personal lives in light of God’s truth.

28 Life Action provides The Lodge facilities and programs to encourage those in positions of spiritual leadership: pastors, their wives, and others. Pray that God’s intimate, refreshing presence will confront, restore, and equip all who come here for retreats.

29 In a culture where women are often encouraged to act in ways that oppose God’s desires, Revive Our Hearts stands ready to assist and disciple those focused on God’s kingdom. Pray that God will help them influence
women of all generations for His glory.

30 The Collegiate Impact staff carries a deep burden for revival and spiritual awakening on college campuses across our nation. Pray that God will help them effectively influence educators and students in such a way that foundations for godliness and scriptural integrity will be established for present and future generations.

31 Several of our staff men have opportunity to minister at the Moody Pastors’ Conference in Chicago, May 18-21. Ask God to direct them as they prepare to present revival-related material to the pastors.
