We are entering these final hours of 2009 with a great sense of anticipation, as well as some of the most significant financial needs we have known in our nearly four decades of ministry. The gap between our ministry outreach budget and our available funding is nearly $500,000, as of yesterday's donations. We have no reserve to turn to. That is a great place to be as we turn to the Lord, once again, in total dependence on Him! Isn't that the way it is with revival in our nation? Apart from God, there is no hope ...

Recently, Sue and I prayed together at the gravesite of LAM's founder. We took time to thank the Lord for the spiritual heritage of Del Jr., and then we prayed for the Lord to multiply the vision and mission of the ministry he birthed under God's leadership. Not to be overly mystical, but the sun was shining brightly on the words inscribed on the gravestone. It was as if a spotlight from heaven did not want us to miss a single word of his legacy:

He knew God
He loved God
He walked with God
He believed God ...

1 With the year quickly drawing to a close, please pray that the Lord will prompt hearts to give financially toward our year-end ministry needs for spreading the cause of revival and spiritual awakening.

2 The road teams are on Christmas break this month. Ask God to give them an enjoyable, restful time with their families and friends, and to prepare their hearts for the coming months of ministry.
