Times have changed. I used to watch road signs when traveling. Now I use GPS. But I forgot mine this weekend, which took me back to the past. In more ways the one.

James 4:6 says, “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” Our staff evangelists like to describe God’s grace like an ambulance. When we see ourselves as we really are without His power, humbled and grieved by our un-Christ-likeness, and cry out to Him for His sufficiency, His “grace ambulance” rushes to the scene, providing all we need for life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3).
