“The story of every great Christian achievement is the history of answered prayer.”
- E. M. Bounds
Since we cannot achieve anything of value without God's presence and power, please diligently intercede for Life Action Ministries, that our efforts will be based on God's Word and implemented by unceasing prayer.
Revive Our Hearts is hosting a preconference luncheon in Indianapolis for ministry leaders and influencers today. As Nancy Leigh DeMoss shares, pray that God would allow many to catch the vision for expanding the True Woman movement.
While Revive Our Hearts' Advisory Board meets today, pray that God would give clear focus and vision as they seek Him for the direction of this ministry.
Today and tomorrow, Revive Our Hearts is hosting several gatherings in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. Pray that God would bring people who can help promote the upcoming True Woman conference in Ft. Worth October 14-16.
This weekend, women are gathering at the Life Action Camp for a Women of Action retreat. Pray that Carrie Gaul and Dana Lee will have Spirit-led wisdom and direction as they teach the women about living intentionally for Jesus, and that the women attending will be encouraged and strengthened in the Lord.
Pray for the people of Haiti as they recover from January's earthquakes. Ask God to greatly minister to them and bring a spiritual awakening in their land.
The Revival Conference Team begins a 4-day THIRST conference at First Baptist Church in Headland, Alabama, today. Please ask God to powerfully pour out His Spirit in their midst.
Yesterday, the Red Team began an 11-day summit at Central Baptist Church in Magnolia, Arkansas. Pray for the team and congregation to have humble, sensitive hearts toward the Lord.
Dennis Johnson is the Resource and Distribution Manager for Life Action; his wife, Lorree, is an Administrative Assistant and Biblical Correspondent for Revive Our Hearts. Their prayer is that they would be faithful to and glorify God in whatever He leads them to do.
This morning, about 30 of our homebased staff will meet together for a leadership training session. Please pray that the Lord will use this time to equip them to be effective servants.
As Life Action's Board of Directors meets today for their semi-annual board meetings, pray that the Lord would guide each conversation and decision. Please ask the Lord to give wisdom and discernment to Byron Paulus, Bill Elliff, Chuck Halford, David Cheney, David Cooke, Jack Tompkins, John Shelford, Paul Redmon, Ron Whiteford, and Walter Price.
This weekend, Life Action's friends and ministry partners are uniting for Vision Gathering 2010 in Austin, Texas. As they discover how to impact our nation with a vision for revival, please ask the Lord to reveal truth through Michael Catt and other leaders. May this time be used by the Lord to ignite movements of authentic Christianity.
This weekend, another Women of Action retreat is taking place at the Life Action Camp. Please pray for the leaders and women who will be attending. May all leave renewed and refreshed in their walk with the Lord.
Following the conclusion of the Vision Gathering today, our Senior Leadership Team will meet in Austin. Pray that as they commit their way to the Lord and trust Him to lead this ministry, He will guide their thoughts and decisions.
Yesterday, the Revival Conference Team began an 8-day summit at First Baptist Church in Sylvester, Georgia. Please earnestly pray that God's presence and power will be evident through the team's ministry.
Stephen Barnes has served with Life Action for 18 years, currently in Revive Our Hearts' product resource development and conference areas. Please pray that God will greatly bless him and his wife, Julie, and their three children with His presence, wisdom, and provision.
Having God's manifest presence in one's life equates to personal holiness and revival. Pray that God's people will long for His presence more than ever before.
Pray for the prisoners across our nation, that they will know God's great love for them despite their failures.
Praise the Lord that He chose you through grace alone. You did not have to do anything to earn His salvation!
As spring begins today, thank and praise the Lord for His faithfulness, power, and beauty as seen in creation.
Byron Paulus is leading a pre-summit at Calvary Baptist Church in Normal, Illinois, this weekend. Pray that God would ignite a desire in the people's hearts to authentically and fully follow Christ.
Intercede for God's protection over our staff and team members, because we have an Enemy who seeks to destroy our intimacy with God as well as our ministry's credibility.
Martin Jones serves as Revive Our Hearts' Managing Director; pray for divine strength and wisdom as he leads this ministry. Please also ask God to bless his wife, Helen, and their grown children and young grandchildren.
Intercede for all the True Woman conference speakers going to Chattanooga, that they may open their mouths boldly "to proclaim the mystery of the gospel" (Eph. 6:19). Conference speakers include Pastor James MacDonald, Dr. Voddie Baucham Jr., Nancy Leigh DeMoss, Mary Kassian, Kay Arthur, Fern Nichols, Jennifer Rothschild, and Dannah Gresh; worship leaders are Keith and Kristyn Getty.
Pray for the ladies and leaders at the True Woman conference in Chattanooga, Tennessee, that they would put away all sin, and "like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk" of God's Word (1 Pet. 2:1-2).
Pray that God's living and active Word, which is sharper than any two-edged sword and able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart, will accomplish deep and permanent changes in the lives of the women attending the True Woman conference (Heb. 4:12).
As the True Woman conference in Chattanooga ends tomorrow, pray that God, who has begun His good work in so many of these women, will fulfill His promise to "perform it until the day of Christ" (Phil. 1:6). May He use this conference and its sponsoring ministries as a means to this end.
"Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!" (Ps. 118:26). As you celebrate Palm Sunday today, pray that Jesus may be Lord not only in word but also in your daily actions.
Today through Wednesday, five southeast Tennessee churches will have an exciting opportunity to host Dr. Henry Blackaby, Dr. Richard Blackaby, Rev. Sammy Tippit, Rev. Byron Paulus, and Dr. Francois Carr for the Heart-Cry for Revival Southeast conference.
As these men share each evening, please ask God to show up in a supernatural and life-changing way. Pray that He would give His people a clear vision for revival.
The Revival Conference Team is in the midst of an 8-day summit at Hampton Road Baptist Church in Desoto, Texas. Pray that God's Spirit would invade their meetings and pour out revival during their time together.
The Blue Team is in the midst of an 8-day summit at Trinity Church in Watseka, Illinois. Pray that surrender to God's Spirit will pervade this time.
